SayPro Project Submission & Collaboration Guidelines
Participants in the SayPro Development Talent Show Competition are required to submit their development project or solution online via the SayPro website. Below are the detailed submission guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful submission process.
1. Eligibility & Requirements
- Participants must be registered for SayPro’s challenge before submitting their projects.
- Submissions can be made individually or as a team.
- Each project must align with the competition’s theme and challenge objectives.
2. SayPro Collaboration & Teamwork
The SayPro Development Talent Show Competition values teamwork as much as individual creativity. Participants are encouraged to:
- Leverage SayPro’s Resources: Utilize SayPro’s technical tools, mentorship, and knowledge base to enhance project development.
- Collaborate with Different Teams: Work across departments or disciplines to bring diverse perspectives and skills to the project.
- Align with SayPro’s Vision: Develop solutions that support SayPro’s mission of fostering innovation, problem-solving, and technical excellence.
Teams must clearly define each member’s role in the project submission to highlight contributions.
3. Project Scope & Topics
Participants can submit projects in any of the following categories:
- Solving Internal Technical Challenges: Addressing existing problems within SayPro or related industries through technical solutions.
- New Software Ideas: Proposing and showcasing innovative software solutions that could enhance technology, business, or user experience.
- Innovative Development Processes: Demonstrating unique approaches to software development, automation, or optimization techniques.
Each submission should provide a clear problem statement, proposed solution, and demonstration of impact.
4. Acceptable Submission Formats
Participants may submit their projects in one or more of the following formats:
- Code: Source code with proper documentation (uploaded as ZIP, GitHub repository link, or other specified formats).
- Technical Documents: Whitepapers, research papers, reports, or documentation explaining the solution.
- Demonstrations: Functional prototypes, simulations, or proof-of-concept demos showcasing the working project.
- Presentation Videos: Recorded video presentations explaining the project, concept, and execution.
Each submission must include a brief description outlining the project’s purpose, functionality, and how it addresses the challenge.
5. Submission Process
- All projects must be submitted via the SayPro website portal.
- Participants need to log in to their accounts to access the submission area.
- Files should be in standard formats such as PDF, MP4, ZIP, or any other competition-approved format.
- A maximum file size limit may be enforced—participants should check the portal for size restrictions.

7. SayPro Judging Criteria
The SayPro judging panel will evaluate each submission based on the following criteria:

✅ Technical Complexity – How sophisticated and well-engineered is the solution? Does it demonstrate advanced skills and techniques?
✅ Functionality & Usability – Is the solution fully operational, user-friendly, and practical for real-world application?
✅ Future Benefits to SayPro – Can the solution be integrated into SayPro’s operations or contribute to its long-term success?
✅ Teamwork & Collaboration – If a team project, does it demonstrate strong collaboration, coordination, and shared responsibility?
✅ Presentation & Documentation – Is the submission well-structured, clear, and professionally presented?
✅ Development Process Explanation – How well do the developers explain their approach, decision-making, and technical choices?
✅ Scalability & Long-Term Potential – Can the solution grow and adapt over time to support a larger audience or increased functionality?
A panel of SayPro judges will review all submissions, and selected participants will be notified via their registered email addresses.
