Competition Requirements
Participants must develop a fully functional website that meets the following criteria:

Competition Format & Timeline
1. Registration & NPO Matching (January 1 – January 15)
- Participants register individually or in teams.
- SayPro matches each participant/team with an NPO based on project needs.
- Introductory meetings with the assigned NPO to understand their mission, goals, and digital needs.
2. Research & Website Planning (January 16 – January 31)
- Conduct research on the NPO’s activities, values, and digital presence.
- Create wireframes and prototypes for website structure and design.
- Submit an initial concept proposal for review.
3. Website Development & Testing (February 1 – February 28)
- Develop the website using modern web development technologies (e.g., WordPress, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or other CMS platforms).
- Implement essential interactive elements (e.g., donation portals, event calendars, sign-up forms).
- Ensure SEO optimization and WCAG accessibility compliance.
- Midway progress check with SayPro mentors and NPO representatives.
4. Submission & Evaluation (March 1 – March 10)
- Participants submit the completed website, including a documentation report.
- Conduct live demonstrations to showcase website features and usability.
- Websites will be assessed based on creativity, usability, functionality, and alignment with the NPO’s needs.
5. Awards & Recognition (March 15)
- Winners and outstanding projects will be announced.
- Certificates, prizes, and opportunities for further collaboration with NPOs.
- The top websites will be featured on SayPro’s official platform and social media.
