- Overview
On 06 January 2022, SayPro, in partnership with Accenture, successfully delivered a full-day Network Engineering Training session to 18 participants. This initiative forms part of SayPro’s broader commitment to equipping individuals with practical networking and IT infrastructure skills essential for today’s job market and professional development.
- Objectives of the Training
To introduce participants to the fundamentals of network engineering and IT infrastructure
To build practical skills in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting networks
To enhance employability by improving technical competencies relevant to network administration
To promote collaborative partnerships in technical skills development
- Training Content Covered
The session focused on the following key areas:
Introduction to Network Engineering – understanding network components, topology, and protocols
Network Configuration and Management – hands-on setup of routers, switches, and basic network services
Troubleshooting and Maintenance – identifying common network issues and resolving them effectively
Practical Exercises – simulating real-world network scenarios for applied learning
Network Security Basics – introduction to securing networks against common threats
