- Overview
On 09 January 2022, SayPro, in partnership with Accenture, successfully delivered a full-day Systems Support training session to 18 participants. This initiative forms part of SayPro’s broader commitment to equipping individuals with technical support skills that are vital for today’s digital-driven job market and economic participation.
- Objectives of the Training
To introduce participants to core concepts of systems support and IT infrastructure
To build knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and system maintenance
To enhance employability by equipping participants with essential IT support competencies
To encourage collaborative learning and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange in technical environments
- Training Content Covered
The session focused on the following Systems Support areas:
Introduction to Systems Support – understanding IT systems, hardware, and software environments
Operating Systems Management – installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of common OS platforms
User Support Skills – handling user queries, setting up accounts, and managing permissions
Network Basics – understanding LAN/WAN, connectivity troubleshooting, and internet protocols
System Maintenance and Security – updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity practices

All 18 participants were actively involved in both practical and theoretical exercises
Hands-on troubleshooting activities allowed participants to apply their knowledge in real scenarios
